Acta Technology Releases New RapidMart for Human Resources

Acta Technology, Inc. has announced the first customer shipment of Acta HR (Human Resources) RapidMart for SAP R/3. The new data mart is intended to enable companies to use ERP (enterprise resource planning) data to make better decisions about their people and organizations. Acta RapidMarts is a suite of pre-configured data warehouses for deployment of business analysis in specific subject areas.

RapidMarts are tightly integrated with SAP R/3. Unlike other data warehousing products, RapidMarts is a packaged solution for both extracting and analyzing key data locked away in ERP systems. The new RapidMart - the company's fifth - allows companies to capture and analyze current and historic HR data in subject areas such as personnel administration, organization deployment, and payroll and benefits. Managers can use KPI's (key performance indicators) across a variety of HR dimensions - employees, benefit plans, EEO demographics - with drill down access to detailed information on employees. The new RapidMart includes a data model for storing date-effective records for ease of reporting history, and a way to combine employee attributes with numeric information to understand the organization characteristics, like-groups and trends in HR.
