WizSoft Introduces WizWhy Version 2
WizSoft, Inc. announced the new WizWhy version 2.01 a data mining
software tool for issuing predictions and revealing unexpected
phenomena in databases, running under Windows 95/98/NT, to be released
in March 1999. WizWhy is available for $3,995.00 + shipping and
handling.
WizWhy version 2 has a number of important advantages compared to
other data mining tools:
- Analyses the data by revealing all the if-then rules in the data.
- Predicts based on the discovered rules and lists the rules to explain
the prediction.
- Avoids rules representing noise or over-fitting to increase the
accuracy level of predictions.
- Solves cases of rule inconsistency by weighting the rules according
to their error probability and calculates the error probability of the
prediction.
- Summarizes the data graphically by presenting the one-condition rules
and the basic trends.
- Reveals interesting phenomena in the data by uncovering the
unexpected rules; rules having more than one-condition are unexpected
when they are improbable according to the one-condition rules and
trends.
