FileTek and Ardent Software Announce Partnering Agreement

FileTek, Inc. announced that it has entered into a two-year consulting partner agreement with Ardent Software. Under the agreement, FileTek will now represent Ardent's products to its present and future customers, allowing them easier access and management of massive databases containing detail, or atomic, data. FileTek will also be able to design and implement its StorHouse software solution for Ardent customers who want to draw detailed data from legacy mainframe sources, ERP systems, and other databases. Ardent's DataStage Suite provides the foundation of an enterprise business intelligence and analytical application infrastructure and includes a complete data movement and integration solution with native access to data from mainframe, UNIX, and Windows NT environments; data quality assurance capabilities; and full life cycle metadata management.
