Data Distilleries Selects Hoekstra As VP of Marketing
Data Distilleries has emphasized its ambitions by attracting Dirk Jan Hoekstra as VP Marketing. Hoekstra, who has already held various marketing functions within the IT world, is responsible for the international communication policy, partner policy, and product marketing within this rapidly growing Dutch software producer.
As VP Marketing, Hoekstra will be supporting the international expansion of Data Distilleries with worldwide marketing activities. In addition, he is responsible for product marketing and the relations with strategic partners, including Siebel, BroadVision, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
"Dirk Jan Hoekstra is an expert in the area of e-business and is therefore an excellent addition to Data Distilleries," says Marcel Holsheimer, CEO. Hoekstra is joining the company from Hewlett-Packard, where as Business Development Manager e-services he was responsible for CRM and e-commerce related activities within the Netherlands. Prior to that he held various sales and marketing functions within the software industry, including with Mentor Graphics and Cyco.
