CNN Interactive and Oracle launched myCNN.com with database software that allows users to search the most popular global news network online based on multimedia or text criteria. The new version of myCNN.com now delivers instant, personalized access to more than 17 million pages of Internet content collected through Turner Broadcasting's extensive network of news gathering and media properties. Based on Oracle8i and Oracle interMedia database software, myCNN.com is the first online news service to exploit the best Internet software and media content for global news delivery.
