ShowCase Unveils Enterprise Intelligence Initiative

ShowCase Corporatione-Business announced its Enterprise Intelligence Initiative - a web-based solution that extends the ShowCase data warehousing and business intelligence product line to the growing Enterprise Information Portal (EIP) market.

The EIP tries to enable users to make better business decisions by providing web-based personalized access to key information, without regard to its source. These portals combine the technology and processes found in data warehousing, business intelligence and content management.

The cornerstone of the ShowCase Enterprise Intelligence Initiative is its EIP solution, the result of an exclusive licensing agreement with IntraNet Solutions, Inc. By integrating STRATEGY (ShowCase's integrated data warehousing and business intelligence suite) with IntraNet Solutions' award-winning Xpedio Content Management System, ShowCase delivers the benefits of the EIP to the AS/400 market. Showcase STRATEGY's Enterprise Reporting feature generates PDF and HTML versions of queries and reports, which can now be published to the EIP and managed by Xpedio.
