First Union Selects UNICA IMPACT! Campaign Management SW
Unica announced that First Union Corporation has selected UNICA IMPACT! for consumer marketing campaign management. The company is replacing its prospect database campaign management system to use UNICA IMPACT!.
Unica's EMA solution enables First Union marketers to develop sophisticated campaigns exercising the strength of Unica's optimization and multi-tiered, multi-channel marketing capabilities. UNICA IMPACT! is designed to be used by both novice and experienced marketing staff. UNICA IMPACT! will attempt to help First Union increase the relevance of its communications with prospects and customers and, as a result, improve its success and return on marketing campaign investments.

First Union's initial UNICA IMPACT! implementation supports new customer acquisition campaigns for both The Money Store (TMS) and select First Union business units, utilizing a new prospect database developed by Marketing Information & Technology, Inc. (MITI). The design of UNICA IMPACT! enables remote connectivity from First Union's marketing operations in North Carolina and California to the prospect database maintained by MITI in Massachusetts. UNICA IMPACT! will be used to identify and communicate with prospects who will be most interested in TMS or First Union products and services.
