Ford Tracks Consumer Preferences with NCR Data Warehouse
Ford Motor Company has selected NCR Corporation's advanced data warehouse technology to help it tap into consumer preferences and develop one-to-one marketing capabilities.
The NCR Teradata Warehouse is designed to capture and analyze consumer data collected at Ford's growing number of consumer touch points, including Ford.com, auto show kiosks, and company call centers.
With rollout scheduled throughout 2000, Ford's customer-centric data warehouse will grow to more than five terabytes in size.
