SPSS and Hyperion Expand Partnership

Addressing customer requirements for the next generation of analytic applications, SPSS Inc. has announced the completion of an OEM agreement with Hyperion where SPSS will provide Hyperion with forecasting technologies to extend the analytical power of Hyperion Essbase OLAP Server.

Under the agreement, SPSS will integrate its recently released DecisionTime and WhatIf? forecasting products with Hyperion Essbase, the cross-platform open OLAP server. This expanded partnership is meant to allow Hyperion customers to combine the power of Hyperion Essbase to derive sophisticated business metrics with interactive forecasting of future performance using the SPSS products.
