Decisionism Ships Release 3.0 of Aclue Information Server

Decisionism Inc., a supplier of solutions for e.business information reporting, and analysis, announced the general availability of Release 3.0 of its Aclue Information Server. Aclue is a packaged solution that develops, deploys, and manages analytical applications across a full range of On Line Analytical Processing database technologies as well as relational technologies. Aclue automates turning corporate data into high-value information for reporting and analytical applications.

With the added support for relational technologies, Aclue extends its foundation for the analytical technologies. Supported platforms now include: Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and SQL Server OLAP Service, Oracle 8i, Oracle Express, Oracle Sales Analyzer, Oracle Financial Analyzer and Hyperion Essbase.

In addition to the major enhancement to automatically design and build star schema relational databases, Aclue Release 3.0 incorporates other advances in several areas:

• Support for Sun Microsystems Solaris version 6, a UNIX operating system.
• Dynamic relational metadata support for Oracle Discoverer and BrioQuery.
• Support for Oracle Sales Analyzer (OSA). Aclue now completely supports all of the Oracle reporting and analysis tools.
• Expanded ability to manage and employ user-defined attributes associated with corporate data.
• Enhanced capabilities for Hyperion Essbase outline maintenance and application development. Specifically, Aclue 3.0 has greater support for consolidation attributes, data storage attributes, calculation rules, member formulas, and a wide range of calculation properties.
• More comprehensive support for Oracle Financial Analyzer (OFA) that broadens the range of target databases supported within OFA, including shared administrator databases, and automatic execution of OFA Solves and distributions.
