Kelly Services Selects Sterling's BI Suite

Sterling Software, Inc. has announced that Kelly Services, a leading global provider of staffing services, has selected EUREKA:Portal, EUREKA:Reporter and EUREKA:Analyst for its data warehousing initiative. These products will be used by Kelly to deliver analysis and reporting to its 2,000 employees and up to 8,000 customers and vendors through their intranet and extranet.

"We provide a broad range of staffing services to a multitude of industries globally. We needed a business intelligence solution that could provide robust, detailed analyses of our business whenever we need it," said Tommi White, EVP Chief Technology Officer at Kelly Services. "The combination of EUREKA:Portal, EUREKA:Reporter and EUREKA:Analyst allows us to create the analyses, and deliver them to many users in a timely manner. It streamlines our processes, enhances our customer service and provides all our users a powerful tool right at their desktops."

Kelly Services plans an initial solution deployment mid-year 2000 to approximately 2,000 internal users and up to 8,000 customers and vendors. Sterling Software's EUREKA products will allow Kelly Services to track staff placements, improve vendor communications, and provide more detailed reports and analyses for resource planning. Kelly provides the services of more than 750,000 employees annually to over 200,000 customers.

"Companies like Kelly Services require easy-to-use reporting and analysis tools within their intranet and extranet in order to effectively manage customer relationships and monitor operations globally," said Rick Parker, president of Sterling Software's Business Intelligence Division. "To fill this need, our family of EUREKA products are designed to accommodate thousands of concurrent users and deliver robust reporting and analysis capabilities through a single, common interface, improving system acceptance among users and decreasing IT administration."

EUREKA:Suite from Sterling Software includes:

  • EUREKA:Portal as a single point of entry for all corporate information and a common platform of services for all EUREKA:Suite products.
  • EUREKA:Analyst for advanced analysis.
  • EUREKA:Intelligence for personal web-based integrated query, analysis and reporting.
