NCR Names New Vice President

NCR Corporation announced that it has named Steve Millard vice president of strategic partnerships for the company's data warehousing division, Teradata Solutions Group.

Millard joins NCR from Rochester, New Hampshire-based Cabletron Systems, a $1.5 billion networking company, where he most recently served as regional vice president for strategic partnerships.

Millard will be based at NCR's world headquarters in Dayton, Ohio and will report to NCR senior vice president Mark Hurd. Millard's appointment was effective March 13, 2000.

"The successful expansion of partnerships in key areas is critical to our growth plans for data warehousing," Hurd said. "Steve brings a wealth of experience to our team, and I am extremely pleased with his decision to join us."

Millard, whose corporate experience also includes positions at both IBM and Sun Microsystems, will lead a team responsible for developing and growing NCR's strategic data warehouse partnerships around the world.

Millard holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
