vFinance.com, a Web-based "Financial Opportunity Exchange" and Thomson Financial Wealth Identification, a division of Thomson Financial a leading provider of wealth identification data, have forged a strategic partnership that will change the way early-stage companies and entrepreneurs find Angel investors online.

The flagship product of the new partnership, AngelSearch, will be jointly developed for debut on vFinance.com. The tool will be built around Wealth ID's sophisticated prospecting technology which can identify high net worth individuals with specific industry experience through advanced data mining technology. At the heart of AngelSearch is Wealth ID's database of millions of transactions from insider trading filings from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other independent sources. AngelSearch will also give high net worth investors the ability to be preferentially listed, thereby enabling them (on a confidential basis) to receive deals directly from entrepreneurs that have been screened to meet their exact investment criteria.

AngelSearch will combine this powerful database with vFinance's popular, user-friendly interface, allowing entrepreneurs to search, review and purchase data/contact information on relevant investors (and their backgrounds) that match their businesses opportunity.
