Interelate Adds CRM Analytics Experts to Team

Interelate, the first and a leading business analytics application service provider (ASP), announced the addition of key hires that significantly augment the company's consulting expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) analytics, data warehousing, market segmentation and IT systems planning. Joining Interelate will be Elias Safdie and Tom Flanagan, as vice presidents of business development. In addition, marketing research authority Doran Levy has joined Interelate as senior analytics officer.

Doran Levy, Senior Analytics Officer

Doran Levy is joining Interelate as senior analytics officer, with a focus on helping clients apply Interelate's analytics services to address core business issues. Levy was previously senior vice president and director of Strategic Planning at Young & Rubicam, Detroit, where he managed strategic planning for Ford Motor Company, Ford Motor Credit Corporation, Visteon (Ford parts), MGM Grand, DuPont, and other accounts.

Levy co-authored "Segmenting the Mature Market" in 1993, the definitive market segmentation analysis on the over-50 population, and will publish a sequel this year called "Marketing to the Mindset of Boomers and Their Elders," which explores nine separate segmentation strategies generated by a 10-year study of 18,000 respondents. Levy holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and a B.A. from the University of Maryland.

Elias Safdie and Tom Flanagan, vice presidents of Business Development

Before joining Interelate, Elias Safdie and Tom Flanagan co-founded the Cordis Group in 1995. Safdie and Flanagan together have more than 50 years experience in a variety of disciplines, including e-commerce, data warehousing and customer relationship management (CRM), electronic publishing and document management, and have consulted for companies such as Airbus Industries, Sanwa Bank (Fleet), Wang Labs, Delta Dental of Minnesota, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the National Security Agency. Safdie and Flanagan have published more than 20 white papers on the subjects of data warehousing and knowledge management. Safdie has spoken regularly at the Knowledge Management Expo, and Seybold Seminars and has authored a weekly knowledge management column in KM World magazine. Safdie holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Brown University. Flanagan holds a B.S. in biology and economics and a Masters in finance from Boston College.
