UK Post Office Adopts IntelliCorp LiveModel

IntelliCorp, a leading provider of eBusiness and CRM solutions for the SAP community, announced the successful use of LiveModel at the UK Post Office to reduce costs and accelerate R/3 implementation time.

"LiveModel has enabled us to shorten time-scales considerably - saving at least six months development time, as well as eliminating costly mistakes."

IntelliCorp LiveModel has enabled the UK Post Office to describe business processes implemented in R/3, including: add-ons, legacy applications, or those performed manually, as well as their integration points. Process steps can be mapped to organizational entities and job roles, end-to-end processes can be documented, and the impact of system or organization changes understood and accommodated.

IntelliCorp's LiveModel has been used for a variety of different projects at the UK Post Office over the past three years, playing a crucial role as they restructure operations to be more responsive to customer needs.

The UK Post Office also created a plan for future enterprise growth with the use of LiveModel by creating 'The Post Office Enterprise Model.' This template has contributed to their business model for new business units.

Discussing other benefits of using LiveModel, Dolphin adds, "IntelliCorp's comprehensive modeling tool is also proving to be a good means of educating users about the requirements of SAP - group wide.
