Edwards, KeepSmart.com, Legato Systems, Macromedia, Netfish Technologies, Professional Software Systems, Sane Solutions, Savant Corporation, Taxware International, Inc., TIBCO Software and Vignette Corporation are among the first independent software vendors (ISVs) to support the Oracle8i Appliance. The Oracle E-Business Suite is already available for the Oracle8i Appliance, a key component of a complete Internet infrastructure for the small to medium-sized business to deploy Oracle8i, a leading database for e-business. These ISVs are among the first to show support for the Oracle8i Appliance by validating their applications against the appliance at four newly established Application Solution Centers (ASCs), where third-party applications are tested to run with the Oracle8i Appliance. With the validation of a wide range of applications against the Oracle8i Appliance, Oracle and its ISV partners can provide their joint customers with a comprehensive e-business offering. As a self-administrating deployment platform, the Oracle8i Appliance can lower a customers' total cost of ownership significantly and reduce implementation and configuration time from days or weeks to minutes.
