Computer Associates International Inc (CA) began full-scale delivery of Jasmine ii, the world's first intelligent and integrated platform for eBusiness.

Leveraging CA's patented Neugents neural-network technology, Jasmine ii is the only solution to enable unique and dynamically personalized Internet Exchanges and Portals for Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) commerce. It dramatically speeds time-to-market of B2B, B2C, Application Service Provider (ASP) and trading exchange applications.

Pricing and Availability

The starting price for Jasmine ii, which uses a tiered pricing model, is $2,000. Jasmine ii is available for the Microsoft Windows platform, including Windows NT and Windows 2000. Support for major Linux and UNIX platforms, including Sun Solaris and IBM AIX, is scheduled for release this quarter. CA is also planning a version for the OS/390 environment. Clients can license Jasmine ii for the platforms upon which it runs, with no limit to the number of users.

A Jasmine ii Software Development Kit, available for the Windows platform, is free to developers for a single non-production server.
