Hyperion and HNC Software Sign Reseller Agreement

Hyperion, a global leader in analytic application software, announces a partnership with HNC Financial Solutions, a division of HNC Software Inc and a leader in predictive customer relationship management software for the financial services industry.

The companies will deliver business analysis applications designed to help financial institutions understand and optimize customer relationships and increase the profitability and breadth of their product and service offerings.

Under the terms of the agreement, HNC will integrate and resell Hyperion Essbase OLAP Server, the market-leading open, cross-platform enterprise OLAP (online analytical processing) server, and Hyperion Wired for OLAP, a leading Web-enabled OLAP analysis, presentation and reporting solution, with HNC's ProfitVision, a comprehensive, enterprise-wide profitability analysis system. The combined solution will offer financial institutions the ability to uncover insights into the profitability of individual customer relationships, market segments, delivery channels, and lines of business.

The enhanced ProfitVision will allow users to leverage the performance, scalability, and analytical power of Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Wired to analyze detailed customer account information. These highly interactive, graphical, Web-enabled analysis and reporting capabilities will help financial executives, loan officers, and managers to identify cross- and up-selling opportunities, understand purchasing and investing patterns, and enhance customer service.
