Microsoft Corp announces the worldwide availability of SQL Server 2000 beta release 2, giving customers the opportunity to start testing the next version of Microsoft's award-winning database. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 is fully Web-enabled with end-to-end support for Extensible Markup Language (XML) and a new, integrated data-mining engine, allowing customers to benefit from the efficiencies and opportunities offered by business-to-business and business-to-consumer e-commerce. English Query translates a user's question into a proper database query and returns the desired results from the relational store or Analysis Services.
