Quadstone Appoints Experienced Industry LeadersQuadstone, a premier provider of customer intelligence software and services for the CRM market, has underscored its commitment to global company expansion with the appointment of three new executives to its international management team. Quadstone's newest executives are Glyn Read, European marketing director, Clint Cave, vice president of marketing in the US, and Matt Park, vice president of North American sales. The appointment of data mining industry veteran Glyn Read as European marketing director, bolsters the fast expanding European management infrastructure, with UK offices in Edinburgh and London. He will bring more than 30 years of senior management and marketing experience, specifically in the high-tech industry. Prior to joining Quadstone, Glyn has been a well known face in the decision support and data warehousing industry in Europe as marketing director at SAS Institute, another CRM vendor and the world's largest privately held software company. He was also responsible for some groundbreaking and highly successful board-level marketing programs both at SAS Institute and at Executive Information System supplier Comshare. These programs targeted non-IT decision-makers that have been so difficult traditionally, for IT vendors to address. Glyn also pioneered methodologies for genuine measurement of return on investment (ROI) for marketing programs. Clint Cave will leverage more than 25 years of industry marketing experience, having led marketing teams and set strategic direction for leading organizations in the banking, finance and data analysis arenas. Most recently, Clint was vice president of marketing at venture-backed Customer Analytics, a provider of Web-based CRM software, where he was responsible for driving the company's strategic plans for all facets of marketing including analyst relations, advertising, partnerships, and public relations. Clint's career also includes five years as a general manager at Harte-Hanks, and vice president of marketing at KeyCorp and BankBoston. Matt Park joins as vice president of North American sales with more than 17 years of experience in sales and sales management. Prior to joining Quadstone, Matt was managing director at Inso, a manufacturer of high-end Web publishing and information exchange software. Matt's previous experience includes senior-level sales management positions throughout the US and Europe at leading high-tech companies including Primavera Systems, Factpoint and Raytheon. These three new appointments come just a few months after the appointment of Jonathan Boffey to the role of European Sales Director. Jonathan has been with Quadstone since 1998, and was previously a sales director with Veritas and OpenVision in the UK. Our recent executive appointments represent some of the industry's most accomplished professionals whose breadth of global market experience and deep industry knowledge are gained from first-hand experience in corporate sales and marketing and the CRM space, said Neil Heywood, CEO of Quadstone. We will continue to expand our market presence by illustrating the value Quadstone brings to industry leaders such as J.Sainsburys, Liverpool Victoria and Eircom. The expertise that Glyn, Clint and Matt bring will allow us to more quickly grow our European and US operations and deliver on our customer commitments in the banking, retail, e-tail, telecommunications, and insurance markets.
