Qwest Cyber.Solutions Introduces mySAP.com Upgrade

Qwest Cyber.Solutions LLC, one of the industry's largest Application Service Provider (ASP), announced it is further extending its relationship with SAP America Inc through the introduction of two new programs designed to help customers take full advantage of their SAP based solutions.

QCS has launched a new program that combines QCS application management and hosting services with Microsoft's leading platforms and SAP solutions that will seamlessly upgrade customers to mySAP.com. In addition, QCS also has launched a program to leverage SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW) application through the ASP model.

QCS upgrade to mySAP.com

QCS, SAP, and Microsoft have developed an end-to-end upgrade program for appropriate QCS and SAP customers that will deliver a complete upgrade service in a hosted environment, OS/DB migration, and can also include platform migrations to Microsoft Windows 2000 and SQL Server 7.0 and 2000 to service SAP Releases 3.x and 4.x.

Customers participating in the program will not be disrupted during the process, as QCS' hosting allows for the upgrade, including testing and system stabilization, to be performed in a separate, environment. QCS provides the catalyst to migrate customers to mySAP.com in a low risk, effective manner and provides the opportunity for more organizations to realize the benefits of hosted solutions.

Additionally, Microsoft contributes to the successful migration process by providing leading operating system and database technology for the upgrade. The Microsoft Platform is offered as an option to customers moving to mySAP.com, regardless of their previous environment, as a cost-effective, high performance alternative that will not add unnecessary risk, time or cost to the overall solution.

QCS Launches SAP Business Information Warehousing

SAP BW is a flexible, data-warehousing solution that gathers and refines information from internal and external sources that is fully integrated with the mySAP.com Marketplace and Workplace.
