i2 Technologies to Integrate Hyperion Essbase

With dynamic new online marketplaces at the hub of the digital economy, Hyperion and i2 Technologies Inc announced plans to integrate Hyperion Essbase, the market-leading OLAP server, into i2's TradeMatrix e-marketplace platform.

The expanded partnership between i2 and Hyperion enables both companies to extend business analysis into the exploding market for online business-tobusiness (B2B) e-commerce, which industry analysts estimate will grow to over $1 trillion over the next five years.

i2 has selected Hyperion Essbase OLAP Server as the strategic online analytical processing (OLAP) platform within TradeMatrix, i2's one-stop destination for business-to-business and business-to-consumer e-commerce. The integration of Hyperion Essbase as a hosted application will give TradeMatrix users an enhanced ability to access, analyze, report and forecast their transactions with customers and suppliers along with analyzing the behavior and preferences of Web-site visitors.
