NQL Advances with Fuzzy Logic Capabilities

The NQL Solutions division of AlphaServ.com said that it has added "Fuzzy Logic" capabilities to its Network Query Language (NQL), a patent-pending development platform used for the creation of intelligent agent software for network management and e-commerce applications.

The newly developed Fuzzy Logic capabilities give NQL intelligent agents "smarter" decision-making power by allowing information to be expressed at levels that are in between the traditional "black and white" conditions of binary logic.

With Fuzzy Logic, the agent may deliver a decision in which two of the criteria are met or exceeded, and one falls slightly short.

Michael added, "This technology allows agents to make decisions the same way people do. For instance, a bargain price for immediate delivery of brand name merchandise may offset the specified color choice."
