Business Objects Acts As Samsung E-BI Standard

Business Objects, a leading provider of e-business intelligence (e-BI) solutions, announced that Samsung Electronics, South Korea's leading manufacturer and electronics giant, has selected Business Objects as its e-BI standard. The company's management team and field offices around the globe will use Business Objects to access and analyze information from SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW) and other data sources. Due to the tight integration between Business Objects and SAP BW, Samsung chose Business Objects as the front end to its SAP BW data.

The company purchased BUSINESSOBJECTS, the integrated query, reporting, and online analytical processing (OLAP) tool from Business Objects. Samsung's Open Business Consulting (OBC) has already successfully completed the initial project, which took only three months. Now employees around the world are using Business Objects e-BI solutions to maximize SAP BW's benefits and obtain easy access to extract critical business information.
