CreditXpert TO PROVIDE SPECIFICS BEHIND YOUR CREDIT SCORE

CreditXpert, a spin-off from Neuristics Corporation, the credit industry's leading incubator of artificial intelligence companies, announced the launch of the first commercial product that provides financial Web sites with personalized credit scoring and analysis content. This information, which until now has been closely guarded by the credit rating industry, will be made available to the financial Web sites' customers.

CreditXpert provides customized, personalized information that enables credit applicants to understand how lenders perceive them as credit risks. The CreditXpert report, which draws upon 150 man-years of development work in artificial intelligence, assesses and explains for an applicant the strongest and weakest components of his or her credit score.

"Until now, credit was a one-way street. Credit companies completely controlled the granting of credit. Today, the rules of the game of changed," explains Michael Mazzola, president of CreditXpert. "Now consumers are empowered by the competitive market for credit and by the emergence of the Internet as a powerful tool for accessing borrowing opportunities. Rather than granting credit, credit companies are competing to win and keep their credit customers. Forward-thinking credit companies realize that they must find new ways of attracting and retaining customers. We're convinced that CreditXpert, with its revolutionary appeal to consumers, will give credit Web sites added marketing muscle."

Until recently, consumers had little to no access to their credit scores and had no access to specific information that would help them enhance their credit status. Applying for credit has been compared to applying to college without knowing your SAT scores. To address this lack of information, CreditXpert provides a customized report on an applicant's credit score based on credit industry standards and then explains what specific factors are affecting the individual's score positively or negatively. "The information and explanation, which was not available to consumers up to now, empowers credit users to understand and better manage their own credit," Mazzola said.

CreditXpert will not market directly to consumers, but instead will use the B-to-B-to-C business model, making its service available through Web portals and sites that serve the consumer and small business credit markets. CreditXpert is currently negotiating with a number of major credit Web sites to incorporate its unique technology into their Web site offering. It is expected that financial Web sites will offer CreditXpert to consumers for a small fee or for free as a way of enhancing their customer relationships and increasing their Web site's appeal. CreditXpert will be paid a fee by the credit Web site for each customized report and analysis it generates.
