weather.com Selects Oracle Internet Platform

Oracle Corporation, one of the largest providers of software for e-Business, announced that weather.com, a top 25 Web site (source: Media Metrix and Nielsen Net Ratings), has selected the Oracle Internet Platform to support its transition to a transactional content delivery system. Oracle database technology will enable weather.com to improve site performance and reliability and deliver personalized content to its customers who view an average of three hundred million pages per month.
