AppsCo Software Announces Six New Distribution Partners

AppsCo Software Inc, a leading provider of data warehouse and analytic application development solutions for Microsoft SQL Server, announced the addition of six new distributors to its rapidly growing network of worldwide channel partners. These partners are utilizing AppsMart-AppsCo's software development environment-to quickly build and deploy cost-effective business intelligence solutions for SQL Server customers.

The addition of dc soft GmbH, Elite Systems Inc, GHI Technologies Inc, Gazlin Consulting, Praeos Technologies Inc and Taurus Software Inc to AppsCo's worldwide partner network brings to more than 50 distribution partners AppsCo has inked deals with in the past nine months, the majority of which are U.S.- based.

"The enormous business value to be realized by implementing analytic applications and warehousing solutions is well documented, but it is the difficulty of implementation that stands between wanting an analytic application and having one," said AppsCo CEO Brian Burnett. Gazlin Consulting Inc (GCI)

Gazlin Consulting, headquartered in Athens, Georgia, specializes in providing accounting information systems to small and mid-sized distribution companies in the southeast region of the U.S. The company's services include software sales, design, implementation, training and software customization. GCI is using AppsMart to meet its customers' analytic reporting needs beyond the scope of simple reports, especially where clients need to analyze data from multiple sources.

According to Praeos CEO Jim Egan, AppsMart will be a key component in rapidly building business intelligence solutions for Praeos' customers.

Taurus Software Inc

Taurus Software Inc, founded in 1988 and based in Palo Alto, Calif., develops and markets data movement software and a pre-built health care data warehouse that is installed widely at health maintenance organizations (HMOs). Taurus is targeting middle market manufacturing and distribution companies with its new Triple B data warehouse that provides bookings, billings and backlog analysis on SQL Server.

According to John Murphy, data warehouse architect at Taurus, return on investment (ROI) is critical to middle market companies, often requiring solutions one-third the cost larger companies would be willing to pay. "We selected Microsoft NT and SQL Server to cut the one-time costs, but we still faced the problems of customizing the initial installation for each site, the large costs of making the usual weekly changes to the warehouse in its early life, as well as the customizing of analytical applications.
