Sybase and Compudigm Announce Reseller Agreement

Sybase Inc announced a partnership with New Zealand-based software company Compudigm to resell their revolutionary SeePower business intelligence solution, which is embedded with Sybase's high performance data warehouse - Adaptive Server IQ. The companies plan to penetrate the vertical industry marketplace through key strategic channel partnerships. The announcement was made at Sybase's TechWave 2000 Conference.

Compudigm's SeePower, highlighted at the Sybase TechWave Conference, is a sophisticated application that provides a comprehensive yet simple way for companies to track their performance based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), using patented data visualization technology. SeePower literally draws a color-coded picture of a company's data in a meaningful and succinct manner. The application enables companies to continually evaluate large amounts of information visually so that they can quickly analyze the company's performance at any time.

Compudigm developed SeePower for the gaming and retail industries, using a Sybase infrastructure, and is continuing to work with Sybase to customize applications for other vertical markets, including Internet, financial services and telecommunications, where Sybase has established significant market share. Sybase will also partner with industry leaders to develop and sell SeePower in other vertical markets. In addition, SeePower will be a key element in Sybase Enterprise Portal by providing its visual analytics capabilities in an enterprise portal environment.

SeePower's Data Warehouse takes advantage of Sybase Adaptive Server IQ with Multiplex's industry leading performance and its near linear user and data scalability to support thousands of users and terabytes of data. IQ with Multiplex is also a perfect engine for performing enterprise portal analytics.

They were inundated with huge amounts of data that they were unable to analyze due to a lack of effective business intelligence tools. The management was struggling to understand what actions it needed to take to make a positive impact on their floundering bottom line.

With SeePower, Crown was provided with an insightful solution that enabled them to use all of their daily performance data to make informed and confident decisions. Since implementing SeePower, Crown has increased their bottom line significantly, and they expect even greater results in the future.
