MEDIAPLEX DESIGNATES RealMapping AS A PREFERRED VENDOR

Mediaplex Inc, a leading advertising technology company, and RealMapping, a leading company for highly accurate IP databases, announced an integration of RealMapping's worldwide IP address software with Mediaplex's pioneering MOJO (mobile Java objects) ad-serving technology. Under the terms of the contractual agreement, Mediaplex has designated RealMapping as a Preferred Vendor.

In response to the increasing demand of online advertisers for greater return on investment, the technology integration is designed to deliver higher rates of customer conversion based on the ability to automatically tailor digital advertising to specific geographic target groups in real time.

Leveraging a vast database of over four billion global IP addresses, the RealMapping Country software has the capability to determine where a visitor to a Website, or virtually any digital platform, originates. Mediaplex's proprietary MOJO platform is the only messaging technology with the ability to draw on an advertiser's up-to-the-minute business data to instantly tailor message content for an adjusted price, product or, integrated with RealMapping, geographic data. MOJO then automatically varies an advertiser's message to incorporate content relevant to country of origin.

For example, a worldwide automotive advertiser will enhance results if marketing is tailored to a particular country and, therefore, the culture of that country. Swedes might be primarily interested in safety, the Dutch in fuel economy, and the Italians in design. As a result of local legislation, there are also differences in standard equipment mandates. With the integrated technologies, the design, information, and language presented in the manufacturer's ads is automatically adjusted per the site visitor's origin.
