MIS Completes Acquisition of IntelliCube Software

MIS USA, a division of MIS AG, the global provider of business intelligence solutions, announced that MIS has acquired all shares of IntelliCube Software, vendor of advanced Web-based business intelligence products. MIS will also be employing IntelliCube's approximately 40 employees, including 22 skilled software engineers and an experienced team of 10 people who will focus on channel sales. MIS will continue the development of IntelliCube's flagship product OnVision, a Web-based reporting application. "IntelliCube's products are very impressive," said Christophe Peron, director of marketing, MIS. "OnVision and Control-It are products that are highly competitive in the U.S. market." The base technology in IntelliCube's products supports personal digital assistants (PDAs) and other mobile computing devices. With the acquisition of IntelliCube, MIS broadens not only its product range but also its reach to new users and applications, including those involved with customer relationship management (CRM), because OnVision is the first and only software solution which accesses simultaneously data from different data sources. Among others, OnVision integrates with SAP, the popular business intelligence software suite, and OLAP services from Microsoft.
