Interelate Names Kurt Bertelsen CTO

Interelate, a leading customer intelligence application service provider (ASP), announced that Kurt Bertelsen has been promoted to chief technology officer. Bertelsen will assume responsibility for ensuring that Interelate's technology strategy is aligned with the company's business strategy.

Kurt Bertelsen joined Interelate in September of 1999 as a senior technology officer in the company's ASP Operations division, where he was responsible for providing leadership on technology projects, evaluations and systems design, and for creating standard procedures. Prior to joining Interelate, Bertelsen was employed as director of technical architecture at Andersen Consulting, where he was responsible for all operational aspects of technology deployments. Prior to that, Bertelsen held multiple technical leadership positions with Cray Research and Andersen Consulting. Bertelsen holds bachelors' degrees in business administration and MIS/computer science from the University of Wisconsin.
