Encore Development Expert Presents at SQL2TheMax/VSLive!

Encore Development Inc announces that Trey Johnson, one of its senior data warehouse engineers, was a featured presenter at the SQL2TheMax/VSLive! 2000 Orlando Conference, held September 23-24 in Orlando, Florida. Co-sponsored by Microsoft, MSDN and Fawcette Technical Publication, SQL2TheMax is the premier pre-launch conference for SQL Server 2000. Leveraging six years of SQL Server experience in delivering decision support and data warehouse solutions, Johnson made two presentations during the weekend conference. One was an in-depth data warehousing session entitled, "Managing Slowly Changing Dimensions with SQL Server 2000." In the second presentation, Johnson filled in for Microsoft personnel, and delivered a comprehensive Microsoft session on the data mining additions to SQL Server entitled, "Data Mining on SQL Server 2000."

Out of the 92 conference speakers, Johnson was selected as one of 11 who answered questions one-on-one in the "Ask the DevXperts" booth in the conference expo area, a unique venue for users to interact with industry experts.

Attendees at SQL2TheMax 2000 Orlando had the opportunity to meet with members of the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 development team and hear from leaders in SQL Server technology.

In addition to the SQL2TheMax conference, VSLive! hosted the VBITS and VC++DevCon. During these three concurrent events, leading-edge Microsoft Technologies like SQL Server 2000 and Visual Studio.Net were introduced and explored.
