Enterprise-wide Monitoring Tool Debuts by Metagon

Metagon Technologies LLC, the enterprise data integration innovator, announced the debut of DQagent, an intelligent analytic tool that monitors all designated enterprise systems for user-specified events and then performs user-specified notification and other tasks when event triggers occur. DQagent is available for free evaluation via the Metagon Web site at www.metagon.com.

The beta release of DQagent allows companies to use a cutting edge enterprise intelligence tool that enables users to closely monitor and manage critical data conditions spanning multiple applications and platforms. DQagent automates routine decision making enterprise-wide by enabling users to set triggers by specifying and scheduling multiple agents that monitor key inflection points, events and conditions across disparate platforms and applications. Users create specifications for agents using intuitive desktop interfaces. When specifications for the agents are met, several responses can be initiated such as e-mail notifications, builds of results, reporting, or the launching of another agent. DQagent's simple user interface includes point and click icons and an intuitive scheduling panel to facilitate rapid user acceptance.

John Pierce, president and chief technology officer for iCorp.com, a fast-growing insurance industry services provider said, "Metagon's DQagent will automate the delivery of critical business intelligence throughout the enterprise. This automated analytic agent will greatly increase the efficiency of resource utilization and response times by eliminating routine monitoring of current data conditions. We look forward to working with Metagon as a DQagent partner. This is both an exciting and beneficial opportunity for our organization."

iCorp.com recently implemented Metagon's DQbroker® data integration solution within their enterprise, and will soon offer an ASP model of DQbroker by subscription to smaller insurance providers. iCorp.com will begin use of DQagent immediately.

DQagent works in conjunction with Metagon's flagship product, DQbroker, a field-proven, peer-to-peer (P2P) distributed processing solution that makes all enterprise data appear as a single data source, and delivers full database functionality enterprise-wide, regardless of platform or application. Metagon recently released a full-featured free evaluation version of DQbroker available via the Metagon Web site. With DQagent and DQbroker, decision-makers can monitor data in real-time throughout the enterprise and respond to events as they occur.

Lance Becker, president and CEO of Metagon, said, "DQagent is an important intelligent analytic tool for the enterprise. Metagon continues to be at the forefront of changing the data access environment from vertical processing to intelligent and active resource integration. With the release of DQagent we are opening up a whole new era of data management."
