TD Securities Licenses NumeriX Software

NumeriX Corporation announced that TD Securities has licensed its NumeriX Time Library derivative modelling software, which will enhance TD Securities' ability to price and structure complex derivative instruments.

"This state-of-the-art software allows TD Securities to rapidly structure complex and innovative derivative products within a development framework that we can use across the globe," said LeeAnn Janissen, vice president of TD Securities' Customized Solutions Group. "We purchased the NumeriX Time Library for its advanced pricing models, and the ease with which it integrates with our existing front and back office applications."

TD Securities recently licensed the following products from the Numerix Time Library:

  • Tools, the building block toolkit component,
  • Tools+, for multi-factor lattice-based and generic trees,
  • TreeXpress, a single-factor free and finite-difference methods
  • accelerators,
  • SimXpress, for advanced number generation algorithms to accelerate Monte Carlo based valuation, and
  • LinkXpress, a pre-compiled for automatic generation of wrapper code to interface C/C++ functions to Excel based applications

A major factor in TD Securities' decision was NumeriX's extensive support team, including expert quantitative resources and comprehensive documentation.

"The NumeriX Time Library will complement the development efforts of TD Securities' Customized Solutions Group, and will give TD Securities a versatile platform to build and grow their business," said Carl Conti, Sales Executive at NumeriX.
