Cyveillance Selects IBM to Power its E-BI Services

IBM announced that Cyveillance Inc has chosen the company to power its innovative e-Business Intelligence services. Cyveillance, the "Extra-Site" e-Business Intelligence pioneer, scours the Internet to extract e-Business Intelligence for its clients.

The company chose IBM because of the company's unique ability to provide a complete solution including financing, services, hardware and software.

"Cyveillance's proprietary NetSapien technology is the underpinning of all of our solutions. To succeed, we must demonstrate to our customers our commitment to provide reliable, consistent and accurate data and analysis," said Wolfgang Tolle, chief technology officer, Cyveillance. "We chose IBM because we wanted a partner who would deliver a reliable, available and secure environment to enable us to best serve our customers as we grow, both domestically and internationally."

Cyveillance helps companies capitalize on the entire Internet to drive revenue, increase market share and improve brand and consumer loyalty by looking beyond the activity on a company's own Web site to the billions of publicly available Internet pages that may be affecting their businesses every day. The company's "Extra-Site" e-Business Intelligence services provide clients with competitive and marketing intelligence, as well as brand, partner and supplier management insight.

"Cyveillance selected IBM because it wanted the performance and reliability advantages that come with products that work together seamlessly. Through our complete solution of hardware, software and services, we are able to provide Cyveillance with high-performance product offerings that it can feel confident putting in front of customers," said Jim Corgel, general manager, IBM Global Net Generation Business.

To build its new enterprise-class infrastructure, Cyveillance worked closely with IBM Global Services, which was able to offer integration and e-business services.
