Airline Tariff Publishing Co Licenses ITA SW Technology

Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO) and ITA Software Inc announced that ATPCO will be licensing technology from ITA Software to provide international constructed fare data to ATPCO's airline customers. The announcement was made by Mike Ferrier, president/CEO of ATPCO, at the opening of ATPCO's annual customer conference.

International fare construction is the process by which the 150 million international airfares are generated from information provided by the airlines. The ITA Software technology generates this information much more quickly and economically than has previously been possible.

"ITA Software technology will benefit ATPCO's customers by providing them with more timely, flexible and economical access to international airline fare data," said Mike Ferrier. "This marks the first time that ATPCO has gone to an outside supplier for technology in support of our core airline data services."
