QueryObject Appoints Joseph Valley as president and COO

QueryObject Systems Corporation, a leader in analytical infrastructures for the Information Economy, announced that Joseph (Joe) M. Valley Jr. has been appointed president and chief operating officer. His initial focus will be on increasing sales.

"Joe is an exciting addition to our senior management team, which also includes Daniel Pess, our chief financial officer," said QueryObject Chairman and CEO Robert Thompson. "Joe's domestic and international operating and sales experience will help us maintain the current momentum in North American sales and re-start European sales, which have not performed to our expectations. He is a well respected manager and marketer in the Business Intelligence software sector, with a proven track record of growth and profitability."

"This is a great opportunity for me to participate in another emerging growth situation," said Joe Valley. "QueryObject's technology is truly unique, and sales have not reflected the true value of the product. I look forward to a major sales push into the Internet-based analytical software market, which I think is about to explode. I am very excited about the opportunity to work side by side with Bob and Dan in making QueryObject Systems a major infrastructure player in the emerging Information Economy," he added.

About Joe Valley

Most recently, Valley was president and CEO of MIS AG, USA, a German-owned software company that provides analytical applications in the Business Intelligence market to leading international companies.

Prior to MIS, Valley was president and CEO of Momentum Software Corp, a New Jersey-based software company that developed and marketed message-oriented middleware solutions for Fortune 1000 corporations. Valley took over Momentum, a seriously underperforming business in 1995, restructured the company's operations and put a sales organization in place which ultimately quintupled the company's revenues before successfully selling the company to Level 8 Systems in 1998.

Prior to running Momentum, Valley spent eight years at Computer Associates International Inc, where he held various executive sales positions including vice president of global accounts. Valley holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Joseph's University, and was a Ph.D. candidate at Temple University.

About the QueryObject System

The QueryObject System helps data intensive organizations such as eBusinesses, telecommunications, healthcare, insurance and financial services companies to achieve a competitive advantage by analyzing more data...in more detail...more quickly...over the Internet. The QueryObject is the first true Information Age data structure.

Where most databases were designed for client-server transaction processing, the QueryObject is architected for Internet data analysis:

  • to work on Internet scale data volumes and numbers of users;
  • at Internet velocity, with fast data mart builds, and query at the speed of thought;
  • over both server-centric and distributed network caching Internet architectures, utilizing the patent-pending

QueryObject Distributed Replication Server;

  • with support for any industry standard analysis tools;
  • while maintaining data privacy and security.

Its industry-leading design permits very large amounts of behavioral data to be efficiently stored as a densely compressed loss-less mass, while a unique polynomial index provides instant, random access to both the cross-dimensional totals and - via match keys - to the supporting transaction level data. The benefits are:

  • fast builds, and;
  • fast, consistent analysis of large data volumes;
  • by large, concurrent user populations;
  • using any industry standards analytical tools.

Unique to the QueryObject System is the (patent-pending) Distributed Replication Server which can efficiently stream analytical data, on demand, over the Internet and cache it in proximity to distribute analytical tools and applications, facilitating the first truly networked Internet Information Architecture.
