Unica Appoints Shanahan as General Counsel

Unica Corporation, a leading provider of analytical CRM and marketing automation solutions, announced the appointment of Rachael T. Shanahan as general counsel. In this position, Shanahan will provide Unica with advice and counsel on strategic business and legal issues.

Most recently, Shanahan ran her own consulting practice, providing financial, business development, and legal services to high tech companies. Among her clients were Authoria Inc, Reality Wave Inc, Liquid Software, Inc, Interlynx Technology Corp, and Nequity.

Previously, Shanahan was general counsel and vice president of business development for WebHire Inc (formerly Restrac Inc), an industry leader in networked staffing and work force management systems. She was a key contributor to WebHire's growth from a 12 person, $1 million privately-held company to a 160 person, $22 million publicly-traded firm.
