Vector Becomes Metrix Technology Alliance PartnerMetrix Inc announced a partnership with Vector Information Systems Inc of Brookfield, CT. Vector provides Metrix with a highly configurable data mining and executive information data visualization tool for the Web using data captured in the Metrix e-Service application suite. Vector, founded in 1980, is a provider of service management consulting, software applications and integration solutions, as well as project management and implementation management. Vector is the latest Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) to join Metrix's Alliance Partner Program. "Under the terms of this partnership, we will develop joint sales and marketing plans for each others products and services. With highly complementary products such as the Metrix e-Service application suite and the configurable data visualization tool, there will be many opportunities for us to work together," said Steve Szamocki, director of business development and alliances for Metrix. "Our clients will be able to use data visualization over the Web to review service level agreement compliance, inventory stocking levels, parts availability, track important performance indicators, and much more, with the capability to generate reports with charts and graphs using any number of variables. These reports can then be used in the examination of business processes, reverse logistics planning, and enable our clients to provide enhanced levels of customer service which is easy to understand and measurable," continued Szamocki. Vector uses OLAP applications from Accrue Software, a leading provider of eBusiness analytic applications, that recently acquired Pilot Software, to generate reports based on the latest information contained within the e-Service datamart. More than a dozen standard report forms are pre-loaded into the application, and any number of customizable reports, charts and graphs can be generated and saved for later use. "This product will not only be an addition to the Metrix e-Service application suite for new customers, but also for existing customers looking for increased reporting capability," said John Soboleski, president of Vector. "Our solution is a great fit with the Metrix suite because in the same fashion that the Metrix application is customizable for individual users, so are the reports and graphs. Additionally, as the information in the e-Service datamart is continually updated, so is the information that is contained in the report, so reporting information is as current as possible and available 24x7 anywhere in the world through the Web."
