ANTEON-CITI ANNOUNCES ENHANCEMENTS TO INVESTIGATIVE SW SUITE

Anteon-CITI, LLC, an Anteon Corporation subsidiary and a leader in criminal investigative technology as well as the development of software designed with the investigator's eye, announced the enhancement of its investigative software suite with powerful new features. Anteon-CITI offers immediate availability of its Special Investigative Support System (SIUSS) Version 2.3.1, as well as SpeedLoad V2.3.1 and Insight V2.3.1. Anteon-CITI's SIUSS software has helped many federal, state, and local agencies solve complex cases across the country since 1988.

SIUSS investigative software provides an automated intelligence and analytical system designed to draw together every shred of intelligence available during active criminal investigations, classifying, storing, and correlating data. SIUSS is a Windows-based application utilizing relational database technology and graphical display capabilities to provide investigators with a flexible and easy-to-use investigative tool that combines all available evidence to identify subjects, organizations, and patterns of criminal activity. Over 1,900 data fields within the program allow for the storage of all of the information collected throughout the course of a criminal investigation.

Product enhancements now available in SIUSS V2.3.1 include a seamless interface with Oracle's 8i database product and operation within Windows 2000 Client and Windows 2000 Server operating systems. Included in the many performance improvements for SIUSS V2.3.1 are multi-lingual capabilities and an integrated graphics generator and viewer for creating graphical link charts and timelines. The SIUSS Graphics function allows investigators to uniquely see the "big picture" perspective while simultaneously evaluating selected areas of a chart for greater detail. Enhanced graphics functionality also allows the user to run further analysis on any node on a graphic display simply by clicking on the node, and also to go directly from a node to the corresponding data record in SIUSS.

SpeedLoad V2.3.1, Anteon-CITI's automated data entry product, streamlines the data entry process, providing management capabilities and improving investigator efficiency. By integrating current agency forms, SpeedLoad reduces duplicate data entry by simultaneously completing the required forms and loading data into SIUSS all at once. Version 2.3.1 contains many performance improvements including new standard forms designed to make data entry even more efficient.

Insight V2.3.1 provides unparalleled analytical support to investigative units by automating many tasks performed by analysts-providing hooks for customizable access to internal agency or external databases. Insight provides the ability to run sophisticated searches cross-referencing data and correlating tactics. Simple, easy-to-use queries can be used to analyze data contained in these multiple sources and return the answer, along with supporting analysis if desired. Many new reports have been added to Insight V2.3.1's standard report menu.

Anteon-CITI's software suite is especially helpful in solving complex cases with overwhelming volumes of data. For example, SIUSS can: assist in identifying patterns of activity in conspiracy cases; identify a subject's direct or indirect involvement in multiple crimes; manage the lead assignment and tracking needs of high profile crimes, and much more. Anteon-CITI's flexible report generation capabilities enable investigators and analysts to query the database in just about any way they want, "making the impossible, possible," according to a detective in a large metropolitan law enforcement agency, where SIUSS helped to build the case that convicted a group of pedophiles doing business over the Internet.

"We will continue to enhance performance and to keep our product suite at the leading-edge of the computing infrastructure," explained Joseph M. Kampf, president and Chief Executive Officer of Anteon. "This is an extremely satisfying business for us. Anteon-CITI products have helped law enforcement officials solve numerous cases, and it's especially satisfying to see our depth of Oracle-based development skills speed the just conclusion of criminal cases."

Robert Fratarcangelo, vice president of Marketing and Sales for Anteon-CITI, said, "Our close ties with the criminal investigative community ensure that we can serve the needs of law enforcement analysts and investigators as key developments in underlying technology and products emerge. We always keep the needs of the criminal investigator in the forefront of our product development strategies."
