AFP and TreasuryPoint.com Offer Online Decision Support

The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) announced an alliance with TreasuryPoint.com, a business unit of SEI Investments, during the association's annual conference (AFP2000) held in Philadelphia. Through the alliance, AFP members will gain access to TreasuryPoint's Optimizer, an online tool for institutional balance sheet management, along with links to TreasuryPoint's up-to-the-minute market data, commentary and educational content geared specifically to them. These products will be offered to AFP members at an exclusive member discount.

TreasuryPoint.com's Optimizer is an artificial intelligence-based, decision-making support tool. Each day, using information about a company's financial situation and live feeds from current rate and financial market data, the Optimizer analyzes a company's short-term investing or borrowing choices and calculates its most advantageous options over a one- to 90-day time horizon. In all live tests and historical case studies, the Optimizer's recommendations resulted in lower cost of funds and increased investment returns.
