Knosys Wins 2000 Industry Solution Award

Knosys announced that it won the 2000 Industry Solution Award, sponsored by Microsoft, for 'Best Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence Solution.' The Microsoft Industry Solution Awards (ISA) recognize independent software vendors that best utilize Microsoft technology. An independent panel of judges selected the finalists based on their use of Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft enterprise platform technology to provide tangible business benefits.

Three finalists from each category presented their customer implementations and judges selected one winner from each category. Winners were announced on November 14th in a special ceremony in the Microsoft Booth during COMDEX 2000 in Las Vegas.

Knosys entered the customized Web-based and Digital Dashboard solutions AT&T built using the ProClarity Analytical Platform for the award. Two distinct AT&T business groups on opposite coasts of the U.S. took different approaches to deploying analytical solutions featuring the Knosys ProClarity product suite. Powered by the Microsoft SQL Server database engine, both applications enable superior access to mission-critical data. The result-improved market share and network maintenance-came at a low cost with minimal training.
