thinkAnalytics' K.wiz Gains Phenomenal Acceptance

thinkAnalytics Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gentia Software, announced that its latest $3.0 million license deal for K.wiz, a fully integrated knowledge discovery and data mining platform, to a leading European eCRM software company vaults the Company over its revenue target for the year. The OEM agreement brings the Company's revenue to over $4 million for its first five months of operation.

K.wiz is the culmination of a five-year development effort and has been built with the intention of being embedded by software and third party providers. The 100% Pure Java component-based architecture allows for easy integration into the most demanding environments. The K.wiz platform allows for the rapid development of data mining solutions with a library of advanced statistical, data mining algorithms and visualization techniques. Its advanced Accelerated Database is a patented compression technology, which can process millions of records and deliver real-time responses.

  • Exceeded its revenue goal of $4MM for FY 2000, most notably with the $3MM licensing of K.wiz to a leading eCRM software provider;
  • Licensed K.wiz to a privately-held CRA company as well as thinkCRA to ARC International, a leading provider of consumer glassware in the United States, in its first two weeks of operation;
  • Signed a strategic consulting partnership with CGI and are actively and jointly promoting the benefits of thinkAnalytics' products throughout the United States and Canada;
  • Signed consulting and marketing agreements with leading technology providers: Unisys, internetQueryObject, SQL AG, and Firstwave.
