RightWorks will Embed e-BI Products from Business Objects

RightWorks Corporation, a partner company in the Internet Capital Group network and a leading provider of second-generation e-business applications, and Business Objects, a world leading provider of e-business intelligence (e-BI) solutions, announced a strategic partnership to deliver integrated commerce intelligence and analytic reporting solutions to Global 2000 corporations that are implementing RightWorks eBusiness solutions.

RightWorks will embed leading e-business intelligence products from Business Objects into the RightWorks eBusiness Application Suite to enhance RightWorks' Global Commerce Intelligence capabilities. These products include WebIntelligence -- the first query, reporting and online analytical processing (OLAP) tool for Web-enabled businesses and BusinessObjects InfoView, a business intelligence (BI) portal that collects and consolidates a company's BI information and presents it in a secure, focused, and personalized view to users inside and outside the organization.

RightWorks Global Commerce Intelligence is designed to deliver second-generation query, reporting, and OLAP capabilities to global corporations and trading exchanges. It delivers an analytics "dashboard" that provides global visibility of enterprise-wide e-business data to C-level executives, procurement professionals, and line managers. These products will enable business customers to effectively perform multidimensional data analysis including complex calculations, trend analysis, and modeling on past, current, and future spending to make effective corporate decisions. More effective than traditional relational queries, RightWorks Global Commerce Intelligence also provides marketplace participants with quick, consistent access to data views organized by selection criteria that mirror the dimensions of evolving e-marketplaces and support extensive multi-lingual capabilities.

RightWorks' Global Commerce Intelligence offering draws upon Business Objects' powerful, full-featured business intelligence tool set, allowing buyers and suppliers to retrieve, view, and refresh real-time data for report structuring and drill-down analysis, via a single interface. In addition, it allows the secure distribution of information, supporting the unique multi-organizational capabilities in the RightWorks eBusiness Application Suite. Security levels exist within the application to ensure the privacy of supplier and buying organization data. Together, these capabilities enable informed decision-making within a secure environment, resulting in time and cost savings.
