Andrews Named Director of SPSS MR Dimensions Solution

Adding to its market research solutions expertise SPSS Inc named Peter Andrews director of Dimensions business strategies for SPSS MR, the company's operating group devoted to serving the market research industry. In this key position, Andrews is responsible for assisting customers in strategic adoption of SPSS MR's forthcoming Dimensions solution, an application platform offering a comprehensive, customizable suite of market research functionality including survey design, data collection, data preparation, data management, reporting and analysis, which will enable users to improve survey process efficiency. Andrews assumed this role on Jan. 8.

Andrews has held a number of executive-level positions in the market research industry with a focus on technology management and development. Most recently, he was senior vice president, director of new product development and marketing at Audits & Surveys Worldwide (ASW), where he was responsible for managing the development of technology-oriented research products. He also served as ASW's senior vice president and chief information officer managing the building of information systems to position ASW as a technology leader in its business. Prior to that, he was vice president of information technology at Roper Starch Worldwide, a provider of syndicated and custom public opinion, media and marketing research. Andrews has also held a series of development and technology-related positions at The NPD Group, Research International, Louis Harris and Associates Inc and Quantum Science Corporation.

Andrews holds a B.A. in English and education from Hobart College. He is an active member of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO).
