Syncsort to Participate in New Network Storage Seminars

Syncsort Incorporated will participate in a new seminar series conducted by Network Storage University starting this month. Syncsort, a leading provider of high performance software for data backup, recovery and warehousing, is working jointly with industry partners Quantum|ATL and Network Appliance to present the seminars.

In the seminars, titled "Storage Networking with Gigabit Ethernet," Syncsort will discuss various implementation options for Backup Express, its high performance network backup and restore solution, with Network Appliance filers and Quantum|ATL DLT tape libraries in a Gigabit Ethernet environment. By using the Network Data Management Protocol (NDMP) and its dynamic tape drive-sharing feature, Backup Express offers numerous options to protect large amounts of critical corporate data residing on NetApp filers.
