MS Developers Downloading Oracle's Migration Workbench

Oracle Corporation announced a record number of downloads for its Microsoft-to-Oracle data migration software. During December 2000, Oracle Technology Network (OTN) registered more than 4,400 downloads for Oracle Migration Workbench for Windows. This software allows Microsoft developers to easily migrate to Oracle8i from Microsoft's database products when they hit the Microsoft SQL Server "Scalability Wall." Oracle8i offers these developers many times the levels of database scalability, reliability and performance needed to power their e-business or Web applications. For developers struggling with Microsoft's database scalability issues, Oracle's Migration Workbench provides welcome relief.
