Oracle Raises Procurement IQ with Purchasing Intelligence DW

Now, Oracle Internet Procurement customers, who use Purchasing Intelligence to monitor supplier performance and negotiate better prices, can get greater insight into their procurement spend. With the release of the Enterprise Data Warehouse for early adopters, purchasing managers can gather valuable procurement data, such as regional spending trends and contract leakage, from different purchasing systems more easily. Further, with the addition of Dun & Bradstreet's (D&B) Global Data Access and Item Classification Services, they can more accurately classify products and services and consolidate commodity spending. This new analytical capability allows Oracle Purchasing Intelligence to reflect corporate relationships and aggregate spend accordingly. Oracle Purchasing Intelligence, an integral component of the Oracle Internet Procurement solution, gives purchasing professionals the tools to track and analyze their global spending, monitor supplier performance, and identify significant savings opportunities across their entire enterprise.
