Designed for the Custom Relationship Management market, Purple CRM is an affordable and powerful Web-enabled system that runs on Microsoft Outlook, Exchange and SQL Server. Although PurpleCRM is server-based it is priced to compete with stand-alone desktop products. Available now from Developer Solutions the PurpleCRM 1.7 server is GBP3375 and a single client seat is GBP339 + VAT.

Key Features & Functionality

• PurpleCRM 1.7 works with Outlook and Exchange-based systems running on SQL Server. Integration with the tasks and calendaring within Outlook and Exchange is seamless.
• Has a familiar but customizable user interface and produces pre-formatted reports in Excel and/or Seagate Crystal Reports.
• Auto-Journaling: Creates automatic contact logs of all phone calls, emails, letters, presentations, contracts etc that are generated in the "lead to customer" process. These can be organized by task, email or date.
• The "Additional Information" button/drop down allows access to information pertaining to specific vertical markets.
• Very scalable: It supports implementations from 5 to 5000 seats.
• Manages individual contact information and the whole pipeline process.
• Tracks forecasts versus actuals and provides sales forecasting on a real-time basis at every stage of the CRM process.
• Allows granular control that ranges from people seeing only their own set of contacts to group folders where information can be shared.
• Allows links to the contact's company Web site or the direct URLs of individual pages.
