Dirig SW Delivers Management Solution for MySQL

Dirig Software, developer of leading applications and systems management solutions, announced that it has released a new Specific Application Manager (SAM) for proactively managing MySQL, the world's most widely used open-source relational database. The new database SAM has been added to Dirig's SAM portfolio enhancing the management capabilities for IT administrators responsible for database management. Through a set of pre-configured management rules, SAMs provide IT administrators with a solution to increase the rate of install and solve application problems such as database management. The MySQL SAM addresses the issues of managing an open-source based database alongside other database configurations. Customers in a multi-platform environment have the flexibility and control to effectively and proactively manage separate databases.
